La Pradera is a mature cattle ranch based in Santa Rosa de Roca, Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The ranch has been in operation since 1999 and is composed of 3,200 hectares of pristine land - where around 4,000 cattle roam freely and feed on natural grass and spring water. La Pradera is fully compliant with environmental regulations and its management adheres to the highest ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. Furthermore, La Pradera is the definition of ‘organic,’ as the cattle feed only on natural grass without any nutritional supplements or additives.

La Pradera is focused on the breeding and rearing phases of cattle ranching. Modern cattle ranching techniques are being applied for the optimization and effective use of the land. The cattle ranching operations follow the strict health guidelines of the country in order to prevent the spread of any disease and specifically the prevention of foot and mouth disease, for which Bolivia has a certification for export.

The management of La Pradera will be run by Finka GmbH’s subsidiary in Bolivia, under a world-class cattle ranching leadership and a capable operational team. The main focus is to optimize the ranch’s operations through the implementation of modern cattle ranching techniques and a digitization plan, which will take advantage of the best available technology. The digitization plan started with the mapping enabling the monitoring of the paddocks, to be followed by bu chips on the herd for precise monitoring. Last but not least, a state-of-the-art online accounting system has been implemented - allowing for more sophisticated cattle herd reporting.

The cattle herd at La Pradera is the underlying asset for the FINKA TOKEN, a Security Token issued by Swiss based Finka GmbH. Token-holders are granted a pro rata net revenue share on the cattle ranching operations.
